*rolls eyes* Do I really have to spell out the disclaimer that of course I don’t think this applies to all women? Particularly lots of really cool ones that I know personally (and one of which I’m married to).
That being said, I don’t apologize for the link or for the title of the post. Me and other guys I know spent plenty of time (while waiting to meet one of those really cool women *wink*) watching jerks accumulate women and then later providing shoulders to cry on for the ones that were “just friends.”
Sure I’m being a bit dramatic about it, and it has become a bit of a trope, but the phenomenon exists. It’s just interesting to see research that supports it.
